The UK’s largest harvest celebration, Malvern Autumn Show taking place from 27th-29th September at Three Counties Showground in association with Westons, has partnered with the South West’s flagship Dobbies store in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, to launch the 2024 Giant Red Apple Tour, which runs until September across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire.
The UK’s biggest harvest celebration, the Malvern Autumn Show is well known forginormous fruit and vegetables, as it’s home to the internationally recognised CANNA UK Giant Vegetables Championship and to celebrate the Guiness World Recording breaking annual event, the high-profile event is touring a large-scale rosy red apple, artfully decorated with seasonal produce by Worcestershire artist Anna Best.
A selfie magnet for visitors to Dobbies Cirencester, the apple is an impressive sight at the entrance to the large store, measuring just over 8ft in height and weighing in at a whopping seventy-five kilos. It will undoubtedly provide local shoppers in Cirencester with lots of photo opportunities over the coming weeks, as a beacon for the country’s largest autumnal event.

Malvern Autumn Show Festival is athree-day seasonal extravaganza held at the Three Counties Showground, in association with Westons Cider from 27 – 29 September 2024, with a whole host of celebrity chefs, gardening experts, theatres, immersive experiences and interactive demonstrations.
The show features an unmissable line-up showcasing the country’s best-known expert horticulturalists and foodie personalities, including BBC Gardeners World presenters Adam Frost and Arit Anderson, plus Great British Bake-Off stars Briony May Williams, Lizzie Acker and Guiseppe Dell’Anno, all starring in the brand-new Great Malvern Cake Off, plus Strictly star Kevin Clifton to headline in the vintage tent!
Next on the Giant Apple Tour itinerary is Webbs of Wychbold in Worcestershire, with the super-sized decorative installation arriving on 19th August to 4th September, followed by the final stop of the tour 4th September to 25th September at Oakchurch in Hereford.
