There’s something for the whole family at Malvern Autumn Show and best of all, many of the activities for kids are FREE. See which activities were at the show this year!
Caving (Saturday and Sunday Only)
Children could challenge themselves by tackling over 90 feet of caving experience via stalactites and stalagmites, then up into the upper chamber to find their way out.

West Midlands Search and Rescue (Saturday and Sunday Only)
Children could find out all about services this regional, voluntary search and rescue team provide across land and water and have a go at interactive activities, such as the ‘throw the line challenge’.

Climbing Wall (Saturday and Sunday Only)
Children could scale new heights with the climbing wall.

Party Plaits
Party Plaits is a creative hair styling business founded by Leeanne Holder, based in Herefordshire. She specialises in fun, colourful braiding styles for parties, festivals, weddings, and events. Her work blends traditional plaiting techniques with vibrant synthetic hair, eco-glitter, and custom accessories like gems, charms, and even dried flowers. She also does fun face art.

Youngstock Agricultural Education Activities
Youngstock are children’s agricultural educational brand, teaching kids about food and farming through the power of reading and fun on the farm.
They brought activities to Malvern Autumn Show, including:
Carrot ring toss
Match memory cards
Bean bag toss
Cow with hide and seek flaps

Willow Weaving
Oakey Bear hosted large scale interactive willow weaving, where visitors had the opportunity to learn the tight-weave technique and add willow to a large armature.

STIHL Toys
STIHL kindly donated a range of toy tools and equipment inspired by their real-life products for children to play with in a designated area at the show.

Traditional Carpentry
Children could learn traditional carpentry skills on a shave horse (a seated wooden vice) and a spokeshave. Visitors also had the opportunity to whittle a wand or a sword to take home.
The activity takes 35-40 mins, is free and is bookable on the day by visiting the stand. Suitable for ages 6+.

Circus Skills (Saturday and Sunday Only)
Thomas Trilby brought his popular circus skills workshops on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Visitors could unlock hidden juggling talents, learn to walk on stilts or have a go at spinning plates, plus so much more!

Hands-on Arts & Crafts
Art Studio Ross held crafting sessions using recycled materials.

Pedal Tractors
A firm favourite with children, pedal tractors give little ones the chance to whizz around and feel like mini farmers.

Rosie’s Bookstore and Colouring Station
Children could browse and books or make use of the reading corner and colouring station.

Midlands Air Ambulance Helipod (Friday Only)
Visitors could explore a real life helipod and learn all about the service provided by the Midlands Air Ambulance.

World of Animals
The world of animals provides the chance for visitors to meet different furry faces and watch thrilling dog displays!

NEW Farm Petting Zone
Delightful furry friends and their informed human companions from the renowned Attwell Farm Park in Worcestershire, came to the show as part of an exciting new animal encounter and interactive learning area. Visitors of all ages had the opportunity to get up close to friendly farmyard animals and gain insights into their lives and care.

Mini Rovers (Little Landys for Little Learners)
Little adventurers could take the wheel of a replica Series 2 Land Rover and tackle a thrilling off-road obstacle course designed just for them! Please note there is a surcharge for this activity.

Vintage Fun Fair
Visitors could take a wild ride on the swing carousel, whizz down the helter-skelter, and test their aim at the coconut shy—all part of the nostalgic charm of the Vintage Fun Fair.
A firm family favourite, this area brought out both the most competitive and the most daring in everyone! Please note, there is a surcharge for these activities.

Forestry Arena
Budding foresters honed their pole climbing skills as part of demonstrations, to prepare them for next year’s Royal Three Counties Show competitions.
The Forestry Arena also hosted speed chainsaw carving competitions for the first time this year and forestry machinery tours.

National Federation Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) Competitions
NFYFC have been holding two competition finals at the show since 2009. These are:
NFYFC Cookery (Saturday)
Each team is required to prepare a three-course meal for a Seasonal Event e.g. Special Birthday, Christmas, Harvest Supper etc. Teams must promote local produce within their displays. At the NFYFC Final three mystery ingredients will be provided to each team by which must be incorporated into the menu. The mystery ingredients can be used in either of the courses or all in one course. The menu must include one sweet and one savoury course and each course must involve a cooked element. Teams to consist of three members, one must be 28 years of age or under, one must be 21 years of age or under and one must be 16 years of age or under.

The themes for the 2025 show were:
16 & Under – Exhibit Title: “British Isles” – A Front Facing exhibit to the theme British Isles
21 & Under – Exhibit Title: “European City” – A Front Facing Exhibit to theme European City
28 & Under – Exhibit Title: “Down Under” – A front facing exhibit to the theme Down Under
