Get ready to meet the animals that help shape the British countryside in On the Farm – a new area at Malvern Autumn Show that brings farming to life for visitors of all ages. Reimagining the much-loved World of Animals, this exciting attraction offers families the chance to get up close to a variety of farm animals commonly found on UK farms while learning more about their care, welfare and importance in food and farming.
Attwell Farm Park’s Farm Petting Zone
At the heart of the area is Attwell Farm Park’s Farm Petting Zone, where visitors can see a wide range of friendly animals across all three days of the show. From curious farmyard favourites to smaller animals, there will be plenty of opportunities for children to discover more about the creatures they love including alpacas, miniature ponies, Valais Blacknose sheep, Suffolk sheep, pygmy goats, Anglo Nubian goats, rabbits, guinea and bugs.
The Fun Farm
For younger visitors, The Fun Farm is the place to be. Packed with hands-on games, countryside challenges and interactive activities, it’s designed to get children learning through play while enjoying plenty of fun along the way. With activities suitable for a range of ages, such as milking a model cow, hobby horse jumping and a cow pat toss game, it’s the perfect place for families to test their skills, burn off some energy and enjoy a little friendly competition.
Giant Tortoises
Slow down and say hello to the Giant Tortoises! These gentle giants are always a hit – come along to see them up close, learn a few fascinating facts and snap a photo of one of the show’s most lovable attractions.
NEW Pony Rides
Pampered Ponies will be providing Pony Rides for the first time at Malvern Autumn Show. Children can meet ponies and enjoy a ride around the Hereford Ring from 10am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please note, there is a surcharge of £6 per ride and pony rides are available for 2yrs -12yrs/ a max weight of 7 stone.
Top Dogs Arena
Dog lovers won’t want to miss the excitement in the Top Dogs Arena, where expert handlers and their four-legged partners will captivate crowds with a packed programme of high-energy competition. Flyball will be held on the Saturday and the Naylors Agility Challenge Final, which brings together the top competitors who have qualified from events across the country all aiming to be crowned Champion, will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can look forward to seeing a wide variety of breeds of all shapes and sizes take to the arena, from energetic spaniels to lovable golden retrievers and everything in between! Pig Section (Sunday Only)
The Pig Section also returns, giving visitors the chance to watch talented young handlers showcase their pigs and demonstrate the skills, dedication and care involved in livestock showing.
