World of Animals

With a large variety of animals of all shapes and sizes waiting to greet visitors, including different breeds of dogs, horses and pigs this was one of the most popular areas for show-goers.

Discover a heartwarming haven for animal lovers of all ages at the Malvern Autumn Show. The World of Animals invites visitors to meet a delightful array of creatures—from farmyard favourites to exotic companions. Children can enjoy hands-on experiences, exciting animal displays, and could even learn how to train a dinosaur as part of a brand-new interactive feature in 2025.

The displays in this arena this year included:

  • Top Dogs Challenges including: Flyball and Naylors Agility Challenge
  • Exmoor ponies musical ride
  • Parade of animals

Dinosaur experiences (outlined below)

Dino Shows

A fun-filled theatrical Dinosaur Show, full of slapstick mischief, educational entertainment and lots of magical moments!

Fun for all ages, visitors could come and learn how to train some rather sneaky, cheeky dinosaurs!

Dino Walkabouts

Visitors were able to walk with the dinosaurs, take a selfie – and maybe even give them a big Dino hug!

NEW Farm Petting Zone

Delightful furry friends and their informed human companions from the renowned Attwell Farm Park in Worcestershire attended the show as part of an exciting new animal encounter and interactive learning area. Visitors of all ages had the opportunity to get up close and personal with friendly farmyard animals and gain insights into their lives and care.

Exotic Animals

A variety of animals join us at the show including snakes, spiders, creepy crawlies and more. This very popular feature at the show offers visitors the chance to hold unusual and exotic animals and to learn more about them through interactive talks.

Rabbits

Get up close to rabbits and learn in more detail about rabbit care and welfare, brought to the show by Cheltenham Animal Rescue!

 

Honey Show

Learn everything there is to know about bees, including their lifecycle, how honey is made and how the different seasons affect the taste. Visitors can even pick up a jar or two to take home.

 

National Pig Show

Junior Pig Club Showcase

Join us for the prestigious British Pig Association’s Young Pig of the Year competition, where the nation’s top young pigs compete for the coveted title. Watch as these exceptional animals are judged on their quality, character, and charm.

  • Junior Pig Club 

Be inspired by the next generation of pig enthusiasts as Junior Pig Club members proudly present their prize-winning pigs in the show ring. The age class categories are:

  • Mini Team (aged between 3-5 years)
  • Novice (children under 10, handlers with less show experience)
  • Juniors (children aged 8+, handlers with more show experience)

Young Pig of Year Competition Final

See animals shown at qualifiers across the country come to compete for Young Pig of the Year Title.

Breed Club Champion of Champions Competition
Don’t miss the thrilling showdown as top pigs from across the UK go head-to-head in the Champion of Champions event. Confirmed breeds for 2025 included the beloved Gloucester Old Spots and British Saddlebacks.

Saturday – Future Stars young handlers comps, presentation of stands and public speaking

Sunday –Young Handler Championships (qualified all over country) and presentation of awards. Young pig of the year, and champion of champions.
